How to

Sprinkle about ¼ teaspoon onto your wet hands for short to medium length hair. Sprinkle about 1/2 teaspoon for medium to long length hair.
Lather to activate until it starts to foam. Apply and massage into wet hair. If there is not enough add a little more powder until you have the desired amount. Lastly, rinse out your hair thoroughly.

Precautions: Avoid contact with the eyes. Discontinue if irritation occurs. Keep the product dry, away from direct water contact.

Is it a dry shampoo?
No, our Powder Based shampoos are in a dry form but they are ''real'' shampoos and when activated with water, will cleanse your hair.

Why is Dust&Glow's Powder-based Shampoo better than solid bars?
To be honest, we like the concept of solid bars. Like us they are waterless and plastic free. But they didn't quite work for our founder Gaelle.....and made her hair flat & limpy, plus she wasn't a fan of the mess in her bathroom. Our shampoo concentrates are ideal for anyone who wants a low-waste, plastic-free hair routine, but hasn't had luck with shampoo bars or conditioners. And we promise they are mess-free, easy to use and amazing for travel!

Is Dust&Glow's Powder-based Shampoo suitable for all hair types?
This shampoo is specifically formulated for balanced to oily hair. If you have dry & coloured hair and need more nourishment, we recommend the Powder Based Shampoo for dry & coloured hair

• Bottle: our aluminium bottles (including lid) are lightweight, compact and recyclable. They are designed to be refilled with our certified home compostable refills.

• End of life: if you choose not to refill, your aluminium bottle can be recycled. Please remove the label first, give the bottle a quick rinse and put in your kerbside collection (NZ only) or local metal recycler. Unfortunately our label cannot be recycled yet. We are working towards having it directly printed onto the bottle.

Do your products lather?

They sure do. When activated with water, our innovative skin, hair bodycare powders will transform from a powder to a rich lather.

This luxurious creamy lather is obtained without any sulfates. Instead, we have chosen to only use a gentle coconut-derived surfactant suitable even for children or sensitive scalps or skin. Rinsing is also very easy and you waste less water, even in the shower.

How do I store my Dust&Glow powders?

Perfect Travel sized product

I bought to trial before a 3 week trip through Asia, wanting to cut down on liquids/weight in my luggage. After initial adjustment to get consistency right I am very happy with the powder based shampoo. I have also found that I can wash only every 4 days or so instead of 3 so quite a bonus! Definitely will buy again!

It works for oily flyaway hair really well.
It cleans off the oil well but not to the point of drying out.

Perfect for teenage hair

I first purchased dust & glow for my 18 year old daughter about 2 years ago. She Loves it. Her hair is thick and oily, and it was quite frizzy. We tried different hair products but they didn't achieve the results she wanted. Dust & Glow balanced to oily hair leaves her hair shiny & smooth and clean! She only washes every 3-4 days and her hair looks amazing. I know it took her a few tries to get the powder to water ratio correct but now she's got it sorted. Highly highly recommend.

Excellent products

Bought the trial size of the shampoo and conditioner, initially didn't use quite enough but once I adjusted that have found they both work really well when I work them through my hair properly. Don't need to shampoo every day and my hair is nice and soft and shiny, no longer as frizzy as well. Am now looking to get the bodywash as well. Will be buying the refills in the future
